About Library
RMDSTIC library has a good collection of 18305 volumes and 4405 titles of engineering disciplines and management department. An Academic Library is truly a learning center, which aims to serve the needs of faculty, students and research scholars. The college library is well-equipped and well managed. It is the cater of knowledge which continuously contributes in the intellectual as well as all-round development of its users and it inspires them to achieve goals in their lives. The college library provides to ample space and comfort to its users. It is located on the basement floor of the college building and comprises of Reading Section, Reference Section and Circulation Section and digital library section. The RMDSTIC Library has a state of art Digital Library for downloading e-journal articles and various paid and free databases. There are 08 computers with modern infrastructure. Students and faculty can get access to various databases like IEEE, Science Direct, ProQuest and DELNET are given. 54 journals, magazines and periodicals are subscribed. There are 18305 books in the Circulation Section catering to the learning requirements of undergraduate, post graduate students. All these books are bar-coded. The college library is partially automated with Auto-lib Software. All the library records are computerized. The library provides Reference service, CAS and SDI service and internet facility. RMDSTIC library has taken other libraries institutional membership. All these valuable resources are well organized in the 900Sqm Area under the CC TV Cameras.
Library Working Time
The library access time is from 8.30 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. Library opening hours are subject to change during examinations and vacation period.
