Intel-Intelligent Systems LaboratoryMOUs / Liaison / SoPs with Industries
Department of Electronics & Telecommunication, Sinhgad College of Engineering has an agreement with Foundation for Innovation & Collaborative Education (FICE), Bangalore, who has liaison with Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd., to roll out the Intel College Excellence Program.
Department has taken initiative to establish Intel- Intelligent Systems Laboratory (Galileo) within college premises for training of trainers, student mentoring and ongoing collaboration/ support.
The laboratory comprises hardware, software platform, training services and project work evaluation. The laboratory is worth addition to the department in the context of project development and keeping pace with state of art implementation platform.
Actel Advanced FPGA – VLSI Laboratory
This MoU is signed to foster Student Access Program in liaison with Actel Inc., USA. Undergraduate and postgraduate students worked on innovative project ideas that are implemented on FPGA platforms provided by Actel.
Texas Instruments
Texas Instruments under the MoUsigned has fostered the computing facilities in the department with the help of DSP and Microcontroller development boards. Students have implemented their mini and major projects on provided boards.
Edutech Solutions
The MoU is signed with Edutech Solutions in the view to carry out Value Addition Programs in the field of Advanced Microcontrollers and programming. The hands on sessions were carried out on the dedicated developments boards.
The Gate Academy, Pune
The MoU with GATE Academy, Pune was signed to provide mass counseling to the students regarding GATE examination.
K-Imaginations
MoU with K-Imaginations was signed with an objective to arrange and conduct technical workshops to
enhance practical abilities of the students in the department.
Nichrome India Ltd.
MoU with Nichrome India Ltd. was signed with a primary aim of working together in the areas of mutual interest and exchange knowledge between institute and industry.
IGATE Global Solutions
MoU signed with IGATE Global Solutions was intended to work with eminent institutions to help in aligning the college curriculum with the industry requirements.
ZENSAR Technologies
MoU signed with ZENSAR technologies provides an opportunity to students to work in an industry like environment under the guidance of industrial as well as academia experts.
UCLAÔǃs Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, USA
The MoU signed with UCLAÔǃs Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, USA was to define and manage questions related to intellectual property such as ownership of industrial rights patents, certificates of invention etc.

The MoU signed with Infosys technologies Ltd., Pune, was to improve the technical education process and to work jointly in enhancing the quality of education imparted to students/faculties and management.
Liaison with ARM and ST Microelectronics (UK)
Department has a liaison with ARM and ST Microelectronics (UK). Department has received grant in terms of High end development boards and State of the Art Keil-Design Software Licenses. The overall cost of this set up is Rs. 9,40,00,000/-. The beneficiary of this development are laboratories, UG/PG students projects, Faculty etc. in the area of embedded systems, microprocessor and microcontrollers, mechatronics, System on Chip etc.

Statement of Purpose with e-Yantra (IIT Bombay)
Department in association with e-Yantra (IIT Bombay) is going to setup up Robotics lab through Task Based Training (TBT). The goal of setting up a Robotics lab is to spread the education in embedded and robotics field.
