- Received an award of ÔÇ£Excellence in Ph.D. ResearchÔÇØ at the COURTÔÇô 2002 (Campaign on University Research and Training) organized by Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
Dr. R.S.Kavitkar
- Worked as a KPO consultant to IMC Software Company, Pune in the domain of patent analysis.
- Honored as a member of the IBC TOP 100 ENGINEERS 2009 by International Biographical Center, Cambridge, England.
Dr. M.B.Mali
- Best paper award titled, ÔÇ£Analysis of Current Steering Digital to Analog ConverterÔÇØ, Int. J. Electrical and Electronics Engg., pp. 48-50, Nagpur, May 20, 2012.
- Special invitee in syllabi reformation committee by Board of Studies (BoS), SPPU and has given the presentations and proposed the necessary structures as well as contents. These efforts have enriched the contents for next generations.
- Seamless efforts in establishment of ÔÇ£Advanced FPGA & VLSI LaboratoryÔÇØ in liaison with Actel Inc. USA. The MoU is signed and the grants equivalent to Rs. 12 Million in kind of development boards & licenses is received. The enhanced ÔÇ£Students Access ProgramÔÇØ consisting of innovative projects is the outcome of this venture.

- Awarded Best Poster of the session at NSCPA-07 National Conference on Signal Processing & Application at D.Y. Patil COE Pune on 8th Sept. 2007.
Prof. S.D.Mali
- Paper publication in ACM Digital Library, referred by 61 researchers as a paid download @$15 till date.
Prof. M. N. Kakatkar and Prof. R. R. Deshmukh
- Setting up liaison with ARM Ltd. UK and STMicroelectronics UK with the department which enables educational use of ARM technology through which department got High-End ARM development boards as well as State-of-the-Art Keil – Design Software. The beneficiary of this development are laboratories, UG/PG student projects, research, Faculty/Student development programs etc. in thrust area of embedded systems, microprocessors/controllers, mechatronics, System on Chip, computer architecture etc.
- Setting up ARM- Cypress semiconductor liaison with the department exclusively for the purpose of Academic Research and/or Teaching.
- Initiated e-Yantra Embedded system and Robotics laboratory setup process. e-Yantra is a project supported by MHRD through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) to spread Embedded systems and Robotics education in colleges across India

- Two research papers have been published in one academic year (2015-16) in Elsevier and IOS Press which is covered under unpaid journal, Scopus Index, SNIP, SJR, and Web of Science.
