Value Addition Programs (VAP) conducted

Department of E & TC Engineering takes utmost efforts for overall development of students and as a part of it, department organized various Value Addition Programs in the year 2015-16. Details are as follows:

  1. The Value Addition program ÔÇ£CÔÇØ certification was conducted for SE students. 170 students had participated in this program. This course was conducted from Sept. 14 – 22, 2015.
  2. The Value Addition program on Scilab certification was conducted for BE and ME students. 225 students had participated in this program. The learners are exposed to the working environment on Scilab software package and its different tools. This course was conducted from Sept. 07 – 12, 2015.
  3. A Value Addition Student Training Program on Linux Certification was conducted for BE students. The program was intended to enhance the programming skills of students in Linux operating system. A total of 53 students had participated in the program. The program was conducted from Sept. 08 – 12, 2015.
  4. The Value Addition program on PCB Design Workshop was conducted for SE and TE students. This two days program has made students capable of designing and developing printed circuit boards for small circuitry. In overall 40 students had actively participated in the workshop. The th0 days workshop was conducted from July. 11 ÔÇô 12, 2015.
  5. The Value Addition program on Workshop on Raspberry Pi was conducted for BE students. The course contained various hands on tutorial sessions ÔÇôfor understanding of Raspberry Pi platform. In overall 22 students had actively participated in the workshop. The two days workshop was conducted from Aug. 22 ÔÇô 23, 2015.
  6. The Value Addition program on C++ and JAVA Certification was conducted for SE students. This course was intended to provide an overview of C++ and JAVA programming languages. A total of 200 SE students had actively participated in the program. The program was conducted from Feb. 09 ÔÇô Mar 19, 2016.
  7. The Value Addition program on Orientation workshop on ESRTOS & DIP was conducted for TE students. In overall 210 students had participated in the workshop. The workshop was conducted on March. 16, 2016.
  8. The Value Addition program on GTT ÔÇô Barclays, Youth Employability Initiative was conducted for TE students. In overall 100 students had participated in the workshop. The workshop was conducted from Feb. to Mar, 2016.

  2. A Value Addition Student Training Program on Linux Certification was conducted for BE students. The program was intended to enhance the programming skills of students in Linux operating system. A total of 92 students had participated in the program. The program was conducted from Sept. 15 – 24, 2014.
  3. The Value Addition program on Scilab certification was conducted for BE and ME students. 200 students had participated in this program. The learners are exposed to the working environment on Scilab software package and its different tools. This course was conducted from Sept. 15 – 24, 2014.
  1. A Value Addition Student Training Program Latex was conducted for ME students. This program was organized in order to enhance technical documentation abilities of PG students. The course included hands on tutorials and practice on Latex. Total 60 PG students had actively participated in this program. The program was conducted on Nov. 18, 2014.
  2. The Value Addition program on Workshop on Raspberry Pi ÔÇô Part I was conducted for BE students. The course contained three tutorial sessions ÔÇôfor understanding the architecture and instruction sets of Raspberry Pi processor. In overall 19 students had actively participated in the workshop. The two days workshop was conducted from Sept. 25 ÔÇô 26, 2014.
  3. The Value Addition program on C++ and JAVA Certification was conducted for SE students. This course was intended to provide an overview of C++ and JAVA programming languages. A total of 200 SE students had actively participated in the program. The program was conducted from Mar. 16 ÔÇô 23, 2015.
  4. The Value Addition program SEED Idol C++ certification was conducted for TE students. The objective of this one day course was to acquire programming skills in SEED Idol C++ and explore job opportunities in the campus placements. Total of 375 students shown their interest to avail this certification.
  5. The Value Addition program on Workshop on Raspberry Pi ÔÇô Part II was conducted for BE students. The course contained three tutorial sessions ÔÇôfor understanding programming aspects of Raspberry Pi processor. In overall 19 students had actively participated in the workshop. The two days workshop was conducted from Feb. 05 ÔÇô 06, 2015.
  6. The Value Addition program on Intel Galileo workshop was conducted for ME students. This three days certification program has made students capable of designing and developing applications in the field of Internet of Things (IoT).In overall 37 PG students had actively participated in the workshop. The three days workshop was conducted from Feb. 16 ÔÇô 18, 2015.
