COMMITTEE FOR SC/ST STUDENTS
SC / ST COMMITTEE
The Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST) Committee of the institute promotes the special interests of students in the reserved category and provides special inputs in academic and non-academic areas where these students experience difficulties.
The main objective of this committee is to function as a Grievance Redressal Cell. This Cell addresses academic and non-academic issues and complaints received from students in reserved categories.
The institute strives to maintain an environment where all communities can participate in academic and research activities without any sort of discrimination with respect to caste or creed. In order to maintain such an atmosphere, the SC/ST committee of the institute sensitizes the campus community about the importance of having diversity.

In case, any caste discrimination incident comes to the notice to the committee members/ institution authorities, strict disciplinary action will be taken against the student, whosoever is engaged in this activity.
